What was the property industry like when you first started and has it changed?

While I’m not new to sales, I am new to the property industry. So I’m learning as I go at the moment! Ask me again in a few years’ time.

What challenges do you face on a daily basis?

For me it’s thinking on my feet, each time an applicant or a vendor asks me a question I’m unsure on just means sourcing it to the correct person, and getting back to the customer promptly. While gathering the knowledge for future so I’ll know for next time!

What is your favourite thing about your job?

I love working with people, and it’s fantastic to be a part of someone finding their perfect home! We all know moving to a new house is stressful, so I try to make it as enjoyable as possible and share my enthusiasm.

Dog’s all the way! I don’t think my GSD/Rottweiler cross or Border Collie would be happy with me if I said otherwise.

Can’t beat cuddles with my fur baby and a good book to wind down!

What makes a good client?

One that turns up! It’s never nice to go out of your way to meet someone for a viewing for them not to turn up. Also someone who has an idea on what they’re looking for- look at the floor plans and the area before you book a viewing.

If you could give one piece of advice – what would it be?

Relax! Try to enjoy the planning that goes into buying/selling your home. It’s easy to get wrapped up in worry and stress, but it all comes with the experience so try to make it a good one!
